Please read these Important Booking Conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings

made through Au Revoir Cruise & Travel.

 

Au Revoir Cruise & Travel is a licensed travel agent and a fully accredited member of  'The Australian Federation of Travel Agents Limited (AFTA) and The AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS). These Booking Conditions apply to the person making the booking and all other persons on whose behalf the booking is made.

Client details

Please ensure that you check all details for your flight reservations carefully. Your Travel Consultant will provide you with an Itinerary on booking confirmation. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder. An incorrect name on a booking may result in an inability to use that booking and the booking being cancelled.  Please review your travel documentation carefully and advise us immediately of any errors in names, dates or timings. You must be at least 18 years of age in order to make a booking.  Please note that any changes to your booking including name changes or name corrections  will incur fees including but not limited to airline charges and supplier fees.

What we provide to you

We provide you with Booking & Advisory Services that allow you to acquire a Travel Product from a Third Party Travel Provider. We act as agent for the Third Party Travel Provider.  By acquiring Booking & Advisory Services from us, you agree that you have read and understood both these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of the Third Party Travel Provider relating to the Travel Product. You pay us for providing the Booking & Advisory Services to you.

These terms and conditions apply to all bookings made through Au Revoir Cruise & Travel who are acting as agents on behalf of all of the suppliers (including but not limited to airlines, tour and cruise operators, car hire and accommodation providers) in your booking. You are contracting with the suppliers, whose terms and conditions apply to your booking. The terms and conditions are detailed on the suppliers website.

Your obligations

You warrant to us that you are at least 18 years old and have the power and authority to enter into a binding contract with us and with the Third Party Travel Providers of the Travel Products that you acquire; the information you provide us about yourself is true, accurate, current and complete (apart from any optional items) as required by any registration process; and you will maintain and promptly update this information to keep it true, accurate and complete. You warrant to us that you have considered acquiring comprehensive travel insurance and we are not responsible for any failure by you to acquire adequate insurance cover. You warrant to us that you will use the Booking & Advisory Services in accordance with these terms and conditions and you will not use the Booking & Advisory Services in any way to breach any laws or defame anyone.

Travel Documentation - Passports and Visas

ANNEXURE – TRAVEL TIPS FOR TRAVEL PRODUCTS These tips set out below are NOT legally binding terms and conditions. Passports, Visas and Health Requirements It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the required documents, including visas and passports, before travelling to a destination. For more information please log on to www.dfat.gov.au and www.smarttraveller.gov.au Please check with the respective Embassy or Consulate of each country that you are travelling to, as many destinations require visas for both Australians and non-Australian passport holders. You need to ensure that you have at least 6 months validity on your passport from the date of your departure return. For International travellers booked on flights to the USA, including Hawaii, it is now mandatory, under the Visa Waiver Program to receive an electronic authorisation known as ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) no less than 72 hours before travel to the USA. This can be obtained from the following website: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta/. For international travellers booked on flights to Canada, you either need a visitor visa or an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to, or transit through, a Canadian airport. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations. Vaccinations are strongly recommended for certain destinations. You need to contact your local doctor who will advise you of these requirements. Please note that vaccinations may be recommended before your travel departure date. Travel Advice We recommend that you contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) or visit their website at www.dfat.gov.au for general travel advice, as well as specific advice (including safety alert levels) relating to the destination you wish to visit.

We also recommend that you register your travel plans with DFAT, so that you may be more easily contacted in an emergency.

Au Revoir Travel supports the Australian Government's recommendation that all people planning to travel overseas take out Travel Insurance see www.smartraveller.gov.au.  For the latest travel advisories please visit www.dfat.gov.au

 

Travel with peace of mind – Travel Insurance

Au Revoir Cruise & Travel strongly recommends that you take out Travel Insurance when deposit/payments have been paid, to cover any unforeseen cancellation.  

Should you have a pre-existing Medical Condition, please advise your consultant who will provide you with the relevant information.

 

Price validity, deposits and payments

All fares and prices are in Australian Dollars.  Prices are based on a per person twin share and are subject to availability, subject to change and can be withdrawn or varied without notice.  Please note some tour operators and travel service providers reserve the right to increase the price of your travel arrangements due to increases in airfares, hotel accommodation charges and currency fluctuations and other fees that may be imposed. Prices do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry, wines, water, beverages, food other than the table d'hote menu, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes unless specifically indicated in the package inclusions.

 

All deposits paid are non-refundable. Payments made by Credit Card may incur a fee. Au Revoir Travel’s preferred method of payment is via EFT.

You can pay by direct deposit, however you must email or fax a copy of the payment receipt to your consultant. Failing to do this may result in your booking cancelling.

At times we may promote 'Dynamic Rates', these rates that are based on instant purchase booking and payments.  We will do all possible to advise you of this at time of booking.

Booking Terms & conditions

Fees may apply should you unfortunately have to cancel or amend your reservation. Once tickets have been issued name changes are not permitted and amendment fees may be incurred, some airline tickets are non-refundable and changes may incur Airline fees. The refund amount is subject to terms and conditions of all suppliers involved.  Au Revoir Travel may charge additional cancellation and amendment fees. Prices on the web site are subject to availability and conditions. Although every care has been taken, the prices are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice.

 

Airlines fees and pre-allocation of Airline seats

Please note that the majority of Airlines are now charging for pre-seat allocation and checked baggage, low cost airlines do charge for in-flight meals, drinks and entertainment, please ask your Travel Consultant for full details at time of booking. Please note that any changes to your flights may result in your seats being cancelled and or voided by the Airline.

Refunds
If your travel arrangements are cancelled and a refund is due, the refund will be made available to you once we received the monies from the Principal involved. In some cases, you may not be able to claim a refund.

 

Frequent Traveller

Should you hold a Frequent Flyer, repeat passengers, Cruise Loyalty membership, please ensure that you advise your consultant at time of booking, so this can be added to your reservation. You are advised to retain copies of your air ticket and boarding passes.

Departure Times and Flight Numbers

Most airlines state that there is no need to re-confirm your departure times and flight numbers. Au Revoir Cruise & Travel will not take responsibility for any flight time or flight number alteration made by airlines. We strongly advise that all onward and return flights should be re-confirmed by phone with the relevant airline at least 72 hours prior to flight departure.

 

Airline E-tickets

International and domestic airlines have replaced paper tickets with electronic tickets called e tickets. All passengers travelling on an e ticket will be required to produce photo identification at check in.

Service Fees

Au Revoir Cruise & Travel may at its discretion charge service fees on your booking. If applicable your Travel Consultant will advise you of this at time of booking.

Deposits paid are non refundable.

Privacy Policy

We treat your privacy seriously. We use the personal information that we collect to identify your personal preferences and match your needs with relevant products and services and assist in processing any bookings. The collection of this information allows us to deal with your booking or enquiry as smoothly and quickly as possible. Au Revoir Travel does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.

Force Majeure – Au Revior Cruise & Travel shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by you as a consequence of Au Revoir Cruise & Travel or any of the suppliers being unable to perform its obligations under your contract(s) due to the unusual or unforeseeable circumstances (a “force majeure event”) beyond the control of the party affected by the force majeure event.  

 

Schedule Changes

We recommend that you check with the Airline that you are travelling with at least 24 hours prior to departure to re-confirm flight times.  Au Revoir Travel cannot be held responsible for Airline schedule changes.

Special needs/requests

Please advise your travel consultant at time of booking should you have any special requests, ie meal request, Airline meet and assistance, wheelchair/mobility needs. Please ensure you advise your Consultant of local and destination contact details.

​

No Show 

If you have a booking for a Travel Product, (including flights and accommodation) but you do not show up to check-in or otherwise do not avail yourself of such Travel Product, you will not be entitled to any refund from Au Revoir Cruise & Travel. However, you may be entitled to a refund of any departure tax you may have paid for your flight (excluding low cost flights).

 

Emergency contact details

Most Tour companies and Cruise companies do require details of an Emergency contact, if you would please provide this information to your Travel Consultant at time of booking. Their name, relationship to you, home and mobile numbers. Please check with your Travel Consultant at time of booking in relation to Tips/Gratuities for cruises and tours, which may or may not be included in your final costing.

Third party sites

Our Site may contain links to websites operated by third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not control, endorse or approve, and are not responsible for, the content on those websites. You should make your own investigations with respect to the suitability of those websites. Information on this Web Site has been obtained from the Cruise Companies represented. However, the cruise industry is constantly changing and should be used as a guide only. We are unable to take responsibility for incorrect information and you must confirm all details at the time of booking.

Complaints

We hope you will have no reason to complain but if you are unhappy with any aspect of the services provided you must report it immediately to the supplier, or contact Au Revoir Cruise & Travel. We are committed to resolving disputes within 24-48 hours. If problems arise, users may contact us by email or telephone.
We shall attempt to resolve the matter immediately but if you remain dissatisfied you must write to us within 28 days from the end of your trip or holiday.

We strongly suggest if you have an issue at your destination you bring this matter to the attention of the Manager immediately, if not this may mean we will be unable to resolve the dispute after you return home.

Jurisdiction

You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia for the determination of any dispute and the making of any claim against Au Revoir Cruise & Travel and acknowledge and agree that a court having jurisdiction in respect of the dispute or claim is the appropriate court.

Au Revoir Cruise & Travel reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time.
 

Choice of Law

You agree with Au Revoir Cruise & Travel that in so far as any contractual relationship is created between you and Au Revoir Cruise & Travel by you making a booking through Au Revoir Cruise & Travel then that contract is subject to the laws of Western Australia.

Pandemics/Epidemics 

Please note that Travel Insurance does not cover for such events. Operators are not legally bound to provide you with a refund and may only offer a form of credit. 

Au Revoir Travel will do all possible to reduce internal fees, however depending on your booking status these may not be refundable. Third party fees may also apply.
